Coach Daniel Stockdale is the Head Softball Coach at Towson University and the leader of Stockdale Softball Camps. Named the sixth head coach of the Towson Tigers on June 12, 2026, he brings a proven record of developing players and building successful programs.
Before arriving at Towson, Coach Stockdale served as Head Coach at Delaware State University for five seasons. He improved the team’s win total each year after his first season and guided the Hornets to their strongest two-year stretch in more than a decade. In 2026, Delaware State won 28 games, posted a 16-game winning streak, and finished as MEAC regular season runner-up.
His coaching background also includes assistant roles at Georgia State University and the University of Memphis, along with successful head coaching experience in both softball and baseball. Coach Stockdale focuses on high-level instruction, player development, and creating a positive, competitive environment.
At Stockdale Softball Camps, players train directly with Coach Stockdale and the Towson staff. Campers receive quality coaching, game experience, and insight into Division I softball while building skills and confidence in a professional setting.
